Vision with Purpose
The Single Moms Alliance is designed to provide an outlet and resources to single mothers that lack support. Our responsibility and desire are to create a community that will answer the natural as well as the spiritual need of every mom by providing various resources. From helping new mothers obtain knowledge and skills for the betterment of their children, providing support to mothers that have lost their children and are on a road to recovery from various hardships, and ministering to the spirit of mothers that have lost hope. The support group will provide basic skills in time management, financial competency, job training, and spiritual wholeness. The goal of the Single Moms Alliance is to eventually provide college scholarships to single mothers and graduating children, as well as outings to develop relationships with other single mothers.
This organization will provide a sisterhood that comes with love, compassion, provision and encouragement for single mothers. A way to form a bond with women that are like us. This group is for us by us. We are creating our own village so that we can grow to be successful. Our motto is “ It takes a village, so we Created One.view events
Thessola Pearson, Vice President of Single Moms Alliance
Wears many hats & sometimes is referred to as “Wonder Woman”. Employed full time as a Financial Specialist for a Mental Health & Drug Treatment Facility, she graduated in 2018 from Gateway Community College earning her Associate Degree in Science. Realizing that her passion for social work wasn’t just a phase she decided to enroll at Southern New Hampshire University where she is working towards earning her Bachelors in Sociology. In 2019, she became employed part-time as a Youth Advocate for LISA’s WISH, an All-Girls group home for teens registered with the Dept. of Social Services Foster System, where her love for social work blossomed. Thessola joined the Single Moms Alliance team in July of 2019 as Events Coordinator to which she took her job so seriously she was quickly promoted to Vice President in November of 2020. However, she refuses to give up the Events Coordinator position. Holding down 2 jobs, Student, & Vice President/Events Coordinator, you would think that would be enough to wear anyone out, but not Thessola! In September 2020 she became the Founder of Justified Mis-FIT LLC., a foundation that provides a variety of mental health services to women & teen girls who struggle with finding their perfect FIT! Out of all the hats that she wears, the best-fitted one is labeled MOM! A Single Mother to one 14yr old daughter, whom she calls her “Miracle Child” is described as her Heart in Human Form! It is Thessola’s prayer that women & young girls across the world will become empowered to know their worth. Queens in a Kingdom
